Very happy with this lamp! The base is heavy and solid, and the shade sits on top of a welded cage easily. I wanted a ambiance light, I like the shade covers the bulb so it doesn’t blind you when you walk around it. The only thing I could pick on is that the cord is just straight, shiny plastic. I love this lamp! It really sets a nice mood and creates great mood lighting. It is weighted well and the base is a modern ceramic shape. The lamp shade is metal so it does not let any light through except through the bottom. It is definitely more of a lamp for mood lighting than for actually lighting up a room but I still really like it. The quality also feels very good for the price.. Peter. An elevated take on classic uplighting. Crafted from metal, this torchiere lamp features a slim circular foot that rises up into its slim cylindrical body. It is as described, but the finer details didn’t meet my needs. The base is heavy but big around, so it takes up quite a bit of space. The lamp shade is too big for my desk space. Nice material, very sturdy. Brass is a little more yellow than the deeper brass color the picture shows. Comes mostly put together, just have to put in 1 screw and the light bulbs.
