With 5 up lights and 1 down light it gives plenty of light - which we have on a new dimmer. The down light is what set this light apart from any other light I was considering. It's great for tasking, which I do a lot of at our dining table, but also such pretty mood lighting at night when I have just that little light turned on - which you can operate all the different settings of what you prefer on or off on a switch on the light. Medium chandelier in brushed steel

This is a great and stylish light for a good price! However it was very difficult to install simply because the wiring is all the same color clear plastic. You will have to split the plastic sleeve to separate the negative wire from the positive, then strip them, then use the very subtle ridges on the plastic casing to determine which is which. This is not in the instructions you’ll have to look it up. Some positives is that it comes with multiple lengths of pole covering so you can customize how low you want it to hang. It’s nice but funky to get it lined up right. Assembly wasn’t hard. You have to do minor adjustments to get all the parts lined up right. The cap on the center part didn’t exactly fit100 but we got it close. Then the arms needed adjusted to be level. I think it’s becuase it comes all collapsed when it’s shipped.. Sharon.
