This pendant light excites the eye with its eddying and whirling folds, their twisting twirl a sensuous feat. Designed by Ray Power, this pendant light is an accomplished pendant, its form thoughtfully considered and sculptured. Powers' designs are typically based on geometry and his predilection for creating three-dimensional forms from flat materials (wood veneer). This pendant light is no exception, its precise contours are brought to life in stereo. With a soulful character and presence, the pendant light will vibe well with any interior. When light is striking from every angle, one might expect more than a hint of conceit. And yet pendant light is wholly modest, its beauty inspiring and up lighting. The pendant light was accorded a Special Mention by the German Design Council.
Rugged brown leather shades are stitched and snugly fit over softly angled conical forms to create a rustic and warm lighting resource. Sturdy bases of cylindrical distressed wood add a natural element with countryside appeal. Adjustable joints on the portable floor lamp and swing arm sconce allow you to direct the lighting where needed for function while the pendant's glass-backed shade reveals the leather's delightful natural qualities with a glow from the lamp inside. An additional switch provides functional convenience to the design.

Transform a room. This pendant’s origami-like shade casts dramatic patterns of light and shadow onto your walls + ceiling. It’s crafted from solid ash wood in a natural finish that layers warmth and texture onto its intricate geometric design. The light is dimmable for even more ambiance.
Love the look, but disappointed in quality - especially for the price! The fixture is very much like balsa wood - very light, and strip-tied together with no instructions to remove or leave on. Two slats not joined properly (picture shown) and a partial break on the tip at bottom (picture shown). Seems like something you would create from Hobby Lobby store and not worth the price.. Pam.
