This Dalila 32.5" desk lamp uses the cord for both electrical and mechanical power. By pulling the cord, a special spring hidden inside the lamp base creates a tension that balances the lamp arm perfectly. This hidden ingenuity allows for feather touch control to adjust the light exactly where wanted. This is a rare lighting collection where the look is as beautiful as the movement.

A 40W bulb is sold separately and controlled by an in-line cord switch for added convenience.
It is as described, but the finer details didn’t meet my needs. The base is heavy but big around, so it takes up quite a bit of space. The lamp shade is too big for my desk space. Great powerful LED lamp. FYI, it is a built in LED - the bulb cannot be replaced. So, I recommend not to be used as a sole lighting system for your room. Perfect for bedside table. This Koen desk lamp is PERFECT! It is exactly as described on website but, even better in person. It is the perfect size, minimalistic design but with powerful LED reading light with 3 levels of brightness, and, it's very easy to move the arm and light direction to exactly where you need it. It also has a USB port for office use or phone charging. I purchased 2 and use them as bedside lamps and could not be happier.
