LOVE the fan. Super sleek and quiet with nice airflow. I will say the installation was a bit more complicated than expected. The directions are generic for all fans, so you need to make adjustments if you don't have the light fixture option. Also, it was difficult to thread the wires and the pin through the down rod. We got 2 of these ceiling fans and love them! They are quiet, and move the air around so well! Having the included wall switch is also a huge bonus. You can't buy a fan like this with the wall switch for this price anywhere else! You will need an electrician or someone who knows how to change/install receptacles though. The wall remote is not a remote in the sense that you can hold it in your hand. It is an actual switch for the wall, so if you don't have a switch for an existing wall fan this may not work for you.
