It took a while before my contractor had a chance to installed it and we found that the light could be defective as it could not be turned off (only became very dim) or turn up as bright as a normal lamp . It also flickered randomly every now and then. Unfortunately by the time we found out about the problem, it passed the date for return. I guess I am stuck with a lemon.
