Hand-stitched linen shades: Hand-stitched lampshades carry a unique charm and character precisely because of their imperfections. Each one holds the signature of the craftsman's hand, showcasing subtle variations that make it one-of-a-kind. Unlike mass-produced items, they reflect time spent in meticulous work and a touch of individuality that can't be replicated. The shade requires "fluffing" to fill the volume; they are unique in being asymmetrical. If you admire hand-crafted objects, you will appreciate the handwork in these unique hand-stitched shades. If you prefer mass-produced perfection, hand-stitched shades may not be the best fit for you, but we love the warmth and love to bring natural materials into our home.

Very nice-looking lamp. The lower gasket where the cord goes into the lamp came out while I assembled it, and it appears it will not go back in. Not a huge deal since it's not very visible, but a little annoying. The shade is a nice look, and I am buying a small hurricane lamp shade, frosted glass, as the bulb is more visible through the fabric of the lamp shade than I would like. Overall, a nice addition to my midcentury modern office. Guy. Cincinnati, OH. Fri Oct 23 2026

Piping hot detail. Wrapped head to toe in soft cotton fabric with tonal piping that trims the shade like fine detailing, tailored, sculptural, and surprisingly warm. The geometric shade and round base strike a playful balance, while rich tones and subtle texture give it vintage charm. It’s lighting with layers, and always dressed for the part.
