I absolutely love this fan. I installed it with the 6" down rod on 8 foot ceilings and it looks great. We had some trouble wiring the switch because the junction box wasn't large enough to fit the switch but we got it to work eventually. The fan is fantastic, and works great with google assistant. The breeze option for fan speed is really nice too. Some people have complained about the app, but I've had no issues with it. Gorgeous, lightweight but sturdy fan! It looks so good, is totally silent, and is powerful enough to cool the room quickly. We're really happy with it. The only downside is the built in LED light is super bright. Even dimmed (it's press-and-hold to dim, FYI. That's not on any of the directions) it's still a pretty harsh light source, in my opinion. We even Frankensteined a piece off the old lamp to add a layer inside this to help diffuse the light some, but it's still harsh. We'll probably just use it as a fan and other lamps on the room as a light source.
