Mind the mess. Overall this lamp is ok. The color is less brass and more, off gold. The weight in the base moves, so it took awhile to get it to sit straight without a lean. It’s ok. Fantastic experience and product. Quality of the lamp is great. The matte finish on the metal & milk-white glass are both good; there were no scratches. The base is weighted & sturdy. Very easy to put together (one person can assemble it in 10 minutes or less) and packaging was properly done too. I used a LED 8.5W bulb (soft white) and the lamp illuminates the area with a soft glow. Be sure to check the measurements of the glass part of the lamp to ensure it will work for your space/design. Nice light! Matte white finish and the shade has wavy texture to it. Throws light up (brightens our space) and down (reading). Was worried bc its on the short side for a flor lamp, but looks fine with our high ceilings. You screw the base together and not every joint lines up perfectly, but for the price, it’s something i easily overlook. I am very happy with this lamp. It is both delicate looking and unusual in my opinion. I had a little bit of trouble getting the shade even when I assembled it but with a little bit of effort I was able to bend the bracket just enough to even it out. The shade itself is sturdy and well made. As a previous reviewer pointed out 60” is not very high so be sure to check and make sure that that is the height that you want.. Amy. Three Tired Shade
I really love this lamp. It’s sturdy and good quality and I like that the top is metal. The lines are clean and it fits well with a modern Scandinavian vibe. It is not overwhelmingly bright nor is it too dim. It creates a nice warm mood lighting which is exactly what I wanted and it is fun to look at. I have received a lot of compliments on it!. Peter. Elegantly beautiful floor lamp. Well made and solid. The cement piece on the bottom is a fashionably current element that holds the lamp to the floor. I don’t worry that it will fall over when I reach for the switch inside the shade. People have complained that the black metal “arms” are wobbly or off kilter. I thought so too till I discovered the Allen wrench in the packaging. Look for it. I almost threw it away.
