Mind the mess. Overall this lamp is ok. The color is less brass and more, off gold. The weight in the base moves, so it took awhile to get it to sit straight without a lean. It’s ok. This lamp is very well-made, heavy, sturdy, and has a lovely place to store the cord so you can keep it short. I do say so myself, but I think it looks great in my living room.
