Love the design of this fan. The blades look modern, very neat and elegant looking. Fan performance is good, very quiet. The only thing I don't like is that the base and the center cap color doesn't match the color of the blades. LOVE the fan. Super sleek and quiet with nice airflow. I will say the installation was a bit more complicated than expected. The directions are generic for all fans, so you need to make adjustments if you don't have the light fixture option. Also, it was difficult to thread the wires and the pin through the down rod. Excellent for my 20+ ft ceiling of the living and sitting great room. Sleek look but super light as it’s plastic. Electrician had no problems for a quick install. Did come with 6” down rod so I had to purchase the 12 and 18 elsewhere to find the right fit, not much of an addl cost and easy to find in 1” diameter, swapped them out myself. Renovating two guest bedrooms, both are 12x12'. This 44" fan feels like the right size for a 144 sq ft room. I ran the new Romex wire to a switched receptacle by the entry door. I like the remote with cradle which I attached to the wall next to the switch. So upon entry flipping the switch turns on the fan/light as well as a bedside lamp plugged into the half-hot receptacle. The fan light is not real bright but adequate for a bedroom and dimmable. For looks I give 5 stars, my wife gives it 4. Fan is not whisper quiet and install was a bit more difficult than other ceiling fans I have hung. I found the "safety cable" to be useless - unless I put a screw into my freshly painted ceiling to attach it (?) plus it was in the way so I used tin snips & got rid of it. Great fan once it actually got up. We had a really difficult time affixing the fan base to the mounting plate. Took us about an hour to finally get it there. Partly due to a rounder-than-normal hook on the base, but also could be our older ceilings making it difficult. Very pleased with the final look, despite our struggles.
