The lamp is OK, but the build quality is poor. The metal frame for the shade doesn’t attach securely and stays crooked. I had to use tape to keep it straight. The dimmer is placed about a foot from the lamp, so if you mount it on the wall, you end up with a big black box hanging below it. It looks bad. I expected more. This is a Wayfair product, not AllModern. AllModern is just Wayfair with different branding to seem more premium. Shipping was rough. The styrofoam shattered into tiny pieces and got everywhere. This sconce is really elegant and well priced. I love that the switch is positioned in a hidden but convenient spot, and the swing arm is smooth. The whole thing feels sturdy and looks great and lights up my reading corner. I will say that installing is sort of annoying, since you need the wall screws to be VERY close to the wall so the weight of the arm doesn’t shift the whole light. Soft Black

These lights are beautiful. I love that you can hardwire then in or plug in. We wanted something different and love the smoke glass look. However, the sticker ripped off the Smokey effect once we removed it. Not sure why they placed it on the glass instead of the frame but it took it right off. I loved this light. Good clean design. Only 4 starts because at this price, at least provide good quality screws. You advice to attach this to stud and screw metal is really soft. Lost screw thread just trying to get into stud. Had to buy damaged screw extractor bit, which only caused the whole screw head to come off.
