I adore this lamp in the small bedroom of our 16' ceiling loft. It provides a wonderful light source in an otherwise dark room with wooden beams in it. The bottom is well weighted, it came with a large spot light already in it, and there's a foot dimmer which lights up on the floor. I bought the 80" model. (Think of a very large Darth Vader laser sword! )
