The product is a conceptual tribute to the machine age: Streamlined, understated, and honest in its function as a light source. Celebrating the most classic of industrial forms, the cylinder, two elements compose the lamp: A refined aluminum base or a new polished marble base conceals the light source, providing ample ballast, while its towering frosted acrylic diffuser becomes a beacon of light. Its confident, geometric simplicity enables it to inhabit a diversity of spaces comfortably. Elise offers a full dimming range in heights ranging from 12” to 80”.

I adore this lamp in the small bedroom of our 16' ceiling loft. It provides a wonderful light source in an otherwise dark room with wooden beams in it. The bottom is well weighted, it came with a large spot light already in it, and there's a foot dimmer which lights up on the floor. I bought the 80" model. (Think of a very large Darth Vader laser sword! )
