As a retired contractor quality is more important often then price. This fan is of excellent quality, lots of features and when on sale is an outstanding value. The motor is quite heavy which tells me of the quality. I expect longevity in this ceiling fan.

Fan looks great! Had it professionally installed with an 18 ft ceiling. Bought a 4 ft downrod that makes it look really good and get plenty of airflow still with settings 2-4 (goes up to 6). Only been in for 2 days but so far so good!
