Nothing comes close to the beauty of these veneers as a diffusion material and no other veneer treatment gives the strength and the protection to the material with out sacrificing the delicacy and subtleness that this natural material communicates when illuminated. The 1st Baron Bourchier was born several hundred years too late to enjoy hanging NUT throughout his shadowy castle. Which is a pity, because the granny knot on which NUT is based sat proudly on the heraldic badge of the Bourchier family. We however are fortunate to live in an era when NUT can adorn our own little castles; a powerful symbol of our exquisite breeding.
