Its a very nice fan. A little noisy when its on high but I suppose its due to the the metal cutting through the air. The con is that Minka-Aire is not a straight forward universal ceiling fan with light type of product. It is difficult to find the coordinating pieces. Not all lighting kits work and not all Minka-Aire lighting kits work. Not all remote controls or wall mounted controls work nor Minka-Aire products. Has to be specific to the fan. It turned out to be quite a chore, not to mention expense, to get it just right. I like the fan, just not the trouble. I think this will be my last Minka-Aire purchase.

This fan looks sleek and modern. And a bit dangerous which is a good thing. The metal blades give it an industrial feel and the three blade configuration looks great. It actually looks larger than it is and fills any room nicely. Fairly easy to install and the price is hard to beat. Very happy with my purchase. It is a little shinier than other fixtures I have of the same color.
