I don't know why our experience was so different from everyone else's. We bought this fan based on the reviews, and had it professionally installed. The fan was extremely loud on the highest setting and it wouldn't reverse (yes, it does have a reverse option). Thus, we can only use the fan in winter, and on a low setting? I don't think so. AllModern was great and replaced the fan no problem. Unfortunately, the replacement fan had the same issues as the first, so we've given up on this fan. Again, AllModern was fantastic and credited our account no problem but it's now been a month and I still don't have a fan that I can use. I wouldn't recommend this fan to anyone.
