Great light fixture - perfect for a game room!

Beautiful fixture that adds a cool modern look. Good quality for price. While fixture is listed as “plastic” it doesn’t look it. Only four stars as it is very challenging to assemble. A few tips for others attempting 1) do not unravel all the handing wires at the same time — they will tangle! 2) once you have pulled through the wires in the canopy you CANNOT extend — suggest starting longer and shortening from there 3) note what the electrical wire attachments are before you cut shorter (take a picture!)

I'm very happy this this light and can be quite picky about fixtures. A few details that might be helpful for others: - The light is slightly angled in near the top vs. symmetrically round. That wasn't apparent in the product page photos. You can better see it in this photo. The angle is great for distributing the light. - The light is a warm 3000k and stays consistent up and down the dimmer switch. No flickering experienced. - The transformer made a slight buzz, but that sound was fully muffled when the canopy was mounted. I'm very sensitive to buzzing and can't hear a thing. Success may be partially dependent on your choice of dimmer switch. - If you plan to substantially shorten the hanging height you may need to cut and re-splice the cord that carries power. It's relatively simple if you're familiar with splicing wires but may otherwise require an electrician. Modest shortening of the cords can simply be tucked into the canopy without cutting/splicing. - Note that one hanging cord is thicker than the other two as it carries power. Test mounting the fixture allows you to ensure symmetry to the room. - Quality of build is good for the price point with no flaws in our unit. Instructions are relatively clear and easy to follow.

We like it! Its very light and provides bright light, appreciate that its dimmable. Not in the description: SUPER long cables (6+ ft) with no instructions on how they work. (Pull through canopy to lengthen. Push little silver cylinder up and pull in opposite direction to shorten). This means you can mount on a vaulted/slanted ceiling (although its a painful process unless you have more than one ladder).

Great light, modern and sets the tone for the room. Good quality for the price. Love it!
