Optimist 9 Light Metal Dimmable Sputnik Chandelier

Absolutely beautiful light fixture. Replaced kitchen ceiling fan with this modern fixture. Family loves it.

It’s a nice chandelier. It’s smaller then I wanted and needs to be on a dinner! Overall it’s good.

Beautiful fixture. Initially it looked smaller than I expected, but the glass globes give it more presence. The light is very bright.

I can’t way to see how it looks when is installed. It’s very easy to place the parts together and the material doesn’t look cheap at all. I’m happy with this purchase. It also came earlier than expected

Ugh. Glitter. Each of the 9 glass globes has a second, smaller globe that’s covered in sandy glitter. Apparently the Glitter is just sprayed on, because _after_ the light was installed, I noticed a collection of sand at the bottom of most globes. I unscrewed one globe to see if I could get the glitter out. There’s a teeny tiny pinhole in each outer globe, and after 5 to 10 minutes of gently shaking, about half of the trapped glitter particles (the smaller ones) fell out of the hole. I can live with it, but I sure don’t like it. See pics. Other than the glitter, it looks fine overall. Since I had to handle several of the globes, I noticed that they are very hot to the touch, even when the light had only been on for a minute (included bulbs must not be led). I would definitely not recommend this light.
