Unfortunately, I fell for the same trap that others have with this one. I should have gotten out the tape measure and really looked at what that height meant. This is bizarrely useless and awkward height for ANY lamp. Hard to imagine where this might be useful -- certainly not what I would understand a "task floor lamp" to be. And it's even a bit more bewildering when you consider that they designed this to have an adjustable height - but even the tallest setting is still weirdly short. Who on earth would want this even shorter?? And if you are going to design it to be adjustable, why not make it adjustable through measurements that people WOULD find useful? Just bizarre. Otherwise, the other qualities about it are fine.
