Very bright gold leaf finish. I’m going to repaint to a softer antique brass. Also painted the “cans” black that hold bulbs. My husband said it was the most difficult light fixture he has ever installed; he has installed many. He also said, overall, it was shoddy workmanship.

I'm really happy with this light fixture. Metal. Seems strong and well made. The gold leaf look is "distressed" giving it a vintage feel. My friends think it's an actual antique. The lighting is soft, uniform, multi-directional. It can be nice and bright if needed or dimmed. I have a galley kitchen and the lighting spans enough space where I don't get shadows from myself when I'm over the sink or to the other side over my cooktop. It's unassuming. Nothing flashy. Just simple with a bit of elegance. Just what I was looking for.

Excellent product that provides great lighting with 8 LED bulbs. The ad was a bit deceiving, however. The ad show bulb recommendations leading me to think the globes for over the bulbs. There were no glass bulbs; the photo shows the fixture with globes for each light. The suggested bulbs to order were Edison, vintage shaped and should have been globe shaped.
