I bought this light to mount over our kitchen sink. It took us a few weeks to attempt installing, as ceilings were getting painted. We put it up last night and it was the most difficult fixture we’ve installed to date. We eventually got it up with the right screw cutters and a lot of patience (the finishing nuts others have mentioned were the least of our worries). The fixture is ultimately uneven. We lowered the left side off the ceiling, but it still feels higher than the right. Assuming because it is ceramic, there was a fabrication flaw with the height being level. Super bummed, as the green color is absolutely perfect with our Army Green paint in adjacent spaces. We can’t keep this up, as it looks like a mistake. I may order another to see if it is also uneven.
