I was expecting a glass shade and not plastic. Disappointment. Package was terrible. Parts missing, electrician showed up and couldn't put it up. So that was wasted time and money.

I bought the light as a replacement for my dining room over-the-table light. It has all the features I was looking for, is dim -able and unobtrusive. I like it and the price was reasonable.

Very happy with the design and quality of the fixture, and it provides just the right amount of light over my dining table. However I was disappointed to find there were only two vertical rods included. One is 12" and the other is 6" providing only 18" of length from the ceiling. My own fault for not reviewing the specifications more thoroughly, but it seems like an insufficient amount for many installations, including mine.
