Gorgeous lamp, but stopped working within a few months, as noted by other reviewers whose warnings I failed to heed, so smitten was I with the look of this lamp, a perfect fit for the reading nook. What’s more, this was actually the second of these that I’ve owned — the first one, upon delivery, did not work at all (and was pretty obviously a refurbished return). Bottom line, for an article that, at almost $400, is at the higher end for AllModern, this shouldn’t happen. This lamp should probably be discontinued until the QC is sorted. But the return and refund was seamless so I appreciate that and will remain a customer.

Beautiful design on this lamp, and I love the easy way it moves. It looks wonderful with my Wayfair lounge chair and bookcase. The lamp did not require any assembly beyond inserting the arm to the base. Quality materials and beautifully finished, fantastic lamp!

While I like the design idea for this lamp, the wood arms are delicate and apparently break easily as the first lamp arrived with the short arm broken in two. The replacement lamp arrived with the longer arm beginning to split at the top and an area of the cord is frayed. We don't have children or pets that might disturb the lamp and cause more damage, but I'm deciding whether to return it as I don't know whether the split area can be stabilized.
