This does what it needs to do in the space: it's cool and sculptural and just the right size. It does not give off much light at all, so if that's what you need this is not the lamp for you. Not difficult to assemble. The foot switch is about 1.5' - 2' feet from the fixture which isn't ideal for our situation but may work for you.
