I just love this lamp! The marble base is solid, and keeps the lamp stable, the spheres give off a relaxing, yet whimsical style. I bought 2 for the guest room, for balance on nightstands. One arrived with a chipped base, so I was sent a replacement. I tested the chipped-base one on an entry table, and now I can’t bring myself to move it! Something about the fluid design and perfect spheres is calming. It has a rotating on-off switch a few inches down the black cord from the lamp base. Lamp arrived very well packed, including the tinyspecial sized (LED ) bulbs required. PHOTO also shows a separate feather lamp, which is NOT included with this lamp.

Cute, but the smaller globe was a little tough to screw on. The gold circular part it the top of the smaller bulb looks smudgy and a little discolored but not enough for me to not use the lamp.
