While this is a beautiful light with a great shape and size and much nicer than most flush mounts, the light that it emits is dimmer than a night light. Hidden in the product description is that the maximum wattage is 18 W. We have this installed in a hallway and it does not provide even close to enough light in order that one can see where they are walking. I am very disappointed.
