Renovating two guest bedrooms, both are 12x12'. This 44" fan feels like the right size for a 144 sq ft room. I ran the new Romex wire to a switched receptacle by the entry door. I like the remote with cradle which I attached to the wall next to the switch. So upon entry flipping the switch turns on the fan/light as well as a bedside lamp plugged into the half-hot receptacle. The fan light is not real bright but adequate for a bedroom and dimmable. For looks I give 5 stars, my wife gives it 4. Fan is not whisper quiet and install was a bit more difficult than other ceiling fans I have hung. I found the "safety cable" to be useless - unless I put a screw into my freshly painted ceiling to attach it (?) plus it was in the way so I used tin snips & got rid of it. Anyway the drawbacks didn't prevent me from buying a second one so the two rooms match, and I'm sure that second install will go more smoothly & quicker.

Great looking fan and easy to install but when the light is set to dim it can take 5-10 seconds for it to turn on after pressing the button. The fan was instant to turn on.
