While this is a beautiful light with a great shape and size and much nicer than most flush mounts, the light that it emits is dimmer than a night light. Hidden in the product description is that the maximum wattage is 18 W. We have this installed in a hallway and it does not provide even close to enough light in order that one can see where they are walking. I am very disappointed.
This flush mount light draws on classic mid-century oversized globe shades with a simple, scaled-down twist. It features an off-white glass globe shade that's set inside a series of metal loops for both support and an architectural, minimalist look. A single 100W bulb rests in the center of the globe, and is diffused evenly thanks to the frosting on the shade.
