These plates were better than expected! These are melamine plates which is what I wanted but they are a thicker melamine which makes them feel more high end. This size is salad plate size which is perfect for small lunches or snacks. My kids love them too! Dishwasher safe. I definitely will consider getting the other pieces in the collection.. Nicole. I am really happy with this set of plant derived plates! There are 4 plates total in the set. They feel to be of really good quality and are well made. I would describe the color as a faded terra cotta and it is beautiful. They serve well and stack well. Food looks really nice on them. They are very easy to hold and clean. Given that they are plant derived, I am not as worried about microplastics as I am with plastic plates. They are also very lightweight which is great and will be handy to use outside.. Peter.
