Its a very beautiful set, unfortunately it took the original and a replacement in order for me to complete a full set. Both the original and the replacement arrived with broken bowls. The plates are carefully packaged, the bowls for some reason are just placed apart with some flimsy cardboard in between and put in a box. The customer service I received was excellent, the plates are beautiful, but the packaging for the bowls needs to be reassessed.. Wenz. Orlando, FL. Tue Sep 15 2026

I purchased two sets (One blueone grey) of the Noritake Colorstax Strip 12-piece sets. I’m glad I did because they far exceeded my expectations upon opening the box! They are a hearty weight and beautifully kilned as not a single blemish either in the porcelain or the meticulously done glazing and paint. Each color has an hombre effect that I didn’t even notice in the pictures that actually amps up the overall beauty of the collection. They’ve been through the dishwasher several times without any degradation in the finishes. Bottom line is that this collection is one I’d expect to pay a great deal more. Jason San Antonio. Jason. The oval dish set includes four dinner plates (12.2 x 9.6 inches), four salad plates (10.8 x 8.5 inches), four bowls (19.6 fluid ounces), and four cups (10.8 fluid ounces). The beige and pink hues highlight the outside texture and shape of each dish to give a unique and aesthetically pleasing look. The collection stands out for its unusual shape and has stackable plates and bowls for easy storage. Although dishwasher and microwave-safe, the pieces will still get hot and should be handled with care. Beautify your table with this designer set and table accessories such as a tablecloth, placemats, or chargers to protect the surfaces as the bottom of the parts is unglazed. The dishes possess an irregular outer surface that gives them a pleasingly rustic aesthetic. There might be color variation within the set due to the reactive glaze response to the shape of the component and the firing heat. Despite being dishes, the oval collection can also be seen as an elegant piece of art. Come and join the Mercer project family with this one-of-a-kind dinnerware design.
