One of the winning features of the loop paper towel holder is its stability. The stainless steel base is weighted and the underside is rubberized so that it stays securely in place without slipping. Two springs on the central pole hold the kitchen roll securely in place. This means that sheets can be torn off with one hand – without toppling the paper towel holder. The tip of the stainless steel arm has a plastic coating to prevent the paper from tearing.

Dinner tables tend to accumulate paper, from napkins to place cards to the odd scribbled note, and this holder gives all of it one tidy home. Marble makes it heavy enough to stay put when someone reaches across, and the veining means every piece looks a little different. Small footprint, so it earns its spot between the salt and the candles.
