Nice set. Large plates and bowls. Looked black in photos. But are actually a dark grey.

This is a great set with good selection of plates and bowls. These are easy to clean and look great.

first plate I pulled out of the box had a chip / slight crack... Very very fragile. I sent them all back

Beautiful. We love these plates. Great quality and very sturdy. We did find after we got them they do not fit in our dishwasher, they are too tall so we are having to hand wash. Would buy all over again though!

Beautiful dishes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dinnerware set is remarkable. The impeccably colored stoneware is simple but sophisticated, elevating the dishes to the level of art. The set utilizes modern shapes that are appropriate for both casual and fine dining. The subtlety of the service for four makes it well suited to pairing with a wide range of flatware and glassware. While the dishware can't claim responsibility for making food taste better, it certainly makes it look better. With a large presentation space, food looks more palatable. I believe that we eat with our eyes first and these definitely up your game in that sense (pun intended). The high rims also help to reduce mess. Aspects such as microwave safe and dishwasher safe add to the appeal. Despite the latter, the dishes are bulky and not altogether conducive to being cleaned in the machine. In retrospect, there are a few aspects that I would take into account prior to purchase. Chief among these considerations is that the dishware is not the most stackable and as such present a storage challenge. They should ideally be used with a tablecloth to prevent scuffs or damage to the underlying surface. Lastly, they are weighty and not ideally suited to children. Nonetheless, this is a high quality, durable set that I'd buy again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all, I love the dinner & salad plates with the edging. I like the look of the them, but as a person who enjoys sauces, gravy, etc. there's an inherit functionality to the edges. The downfall to the edging is that they don't stack easily so for everyday in and out of the cabinet use, that is something to note. I think this set is so beautiful that I'd rather keep it out for a set table so that it doubles for use but also for decoration. The flat surface on the bottom of the stoneware does come with a slight risk of scratching surfaces, but as long as you're careful and use a placemat/charger it will be fine. They are on the heavier side; they look and feel of high quality. They wash up nicely - I have not put them in the dishwasher, only hand wash. Perfect for modern, contemporary or transitional styles.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I got these and realized that each had vertical sides like a bowl. Interesting. But it came in really handy with keeping things on the plate! Genius! No more gravy or sauces spilling over the sides! Why didn't some one do this before? Washed well.
