Then, it arrived in the mail and it was heavy heavy. Took it out of the box, and it was very durable. I didn't want to chance it by putting it in my cabinets to get broken by the kids, so I took it and put it in my home office as a tray to hold my decanter. I love the way it looks, and it fits right in with the other decor.
