I ordered2 sets of the silver flatware and was very pleased when I saw them in person. They were beautifully made and had a nice weight to them. I love how the knife can stand upright rather than lying on its side when setting the table.

I don't see how there are so many 5-star reviews for this flatware set. While they feel good in the hand and are sturdy, the brushed gold finish is wearing off after only a few months use. These are not the most expensive flatware out there, but they're not cheap, and the description explicitly states that they are "dishwasher safe." As you can see in the picture I provided, the finish is coming off after moderate use in a household of two after 6 months. I cannot recommend these in any finish except silver, as I have to imagine all others would come off as well.
