Taking inspiration from the natural materials of sand, clay, and water. The shapes are soft and inviting with pleasantly rounded edges and a slightly rough surface in some areas and glazed in others. The colors, shapes, appearance of the glaze as well as overall look depend on the firing temperature and time and may vary slightly from piece to piece - each piece is unique and may show individual structures and shades.

This is a very pretty light grey glass bowl. It appears to be floating on the counter because it's base, or flat area, is only in the very center of the bowl. I purchased it for a fruit bowl for my husbands town house and it looks beautiful with fruit in it on the granite counters. The only thing is if the fruit is on one side of the bowl only, it kinda tips to the side, so you would want to kind of balance the fruit in the bowl. I am happy with the purchase.. Kirsten.
