Lovely style; mediocre materials: and mediocre craftsmanship. The top and bottom pieces differ in size slightly where the two meet and the wood on the top is a mixture of different colors of wood. The mill works well, but I’m glad I didn’t buy this as a gift.

We had this pepper mill for less than two years when the wood that the grinding mechanism fits into on the top stripped, making it useless. It's attractive and worked well until the wood stripped.
