Chunky linen is entirely handmade and has a natural, earthy look and feeling. The blend of modern and rustic design creates a very organic aesthetic, which truly embodies a vintage and nostalgic French style.

PROS the quality of these is exceptional. They have such a lovely hand feel and they are generously sized. CONS The color is MUCH more like a dingy mustard hue versus the brighter yellow shown in the photos. It is a bit of a number because the color is not quite what I had hoped for, so I will probably pass these along to a friend. I took a star off for this reason, but quality wise these are delightful. Each placemat is crafted from crisp linen in a variety of neutral hues to choose from, and it features fringed edges for an extra tactile layer in your space. These mats have an understated, square silhouette, making them just the right accent piece for casual weeknight meals or a Sunday brunch. These laundered linens feature a design that evokes the oh-so-classic feel of Frenchs and continental style. The fabric is stonewashed for a softer feel than traditional linen and is exceptionally durable to boot. You’ll find these napkins make a fantastic complement to any table setting, midday picnic, or kitchen layout, adding vibrant colors and a sense of European chic.
