For what is supposedly a high-end product I was shocked and very disappointed at the quality of the lid. First, the lid is so raw and unfinished that I actually got a splinter in my finger from it. Second, it is an incredibly poor fit, sliding back and forth a considerable amount. I could foresee losing your grip when the lid shifts while carrying it and possibly even dropping it.
