Love this black matte (basalt) stoneware! I ended up ordering the complete set. Even though they are chip resistant and stackable, I put a piece of thick felt between each piece in my cabinet. Update 33021 I have used this set multiple times now, cleaned in dishwasher (even dropped a piece)...still looks brand new!

The size and color are great! However they are not as durable and arrived broken, which customer service was amazing at shipping a new set, but sometimes I do feel like if I am not treating it like an eggshell the plate might break. Very nice just wish they were more durable, or at least had a thicker edge. They also scratch easily. They will do for now.
