Love this carafe. Nice and heavy so you’re not afraid it will break but light enough to fill with water. Smooth pouring top. Just love it. Everyone gave it thumbs up this holiday!

Lid described as "flip-top" does not flip, close or seal. I wrote to Bromus customer service and they replied that some terms may not be accurate due to translation from German to English and offered no form for recompense for the incorrect description. Unfortunately return shipping cost is about 50% of the purchase price so wouldn't get much of a refund. The glass vessel is very pretty so I guess I'll just use it as a vase since it's too costly to return.
