Lungo 2 pieces 8 oz. Glassware sets are manufactured in the tradition of hand-blown glass. Experienced glassblowers work with the material to create a wall thickness of 3mm and a beautiful clear glass base design feature. The Lungo glass range shows the typical features of handblown glass such as blisters, flow lines, and color variations. Glass is dishwasher safe. The new glass series Lungo by designer adam miller takes its name from the Italian word for a long. Where one might instantly think of the series’ tall and elegant carafe with the slightly heavier base, the Italian-inspired name also tells the story of a slower and more contemplative lifestyle. Lungo consists of a carafe (in two sizes) and matching drinking glasses. According to the designer, the sculptural forms urge you to pause and concentrate on how you are interacting with the pieces and how they feel in your hands. Hence, they serve to emphasize the importance of slow and thoughtful dining and drinking. When not in use on the table, the sculptural items work perfectly as beautiful display pieces, creating a genuine feeling of tranquillity.
A really beautiful set by Blomus, one of my favorite homeware designers. The brown tint adds a lot of character makes it feel like it came from a swanky restaurant. Buy all their things.. Joshua. Boise, ID. Fri Jun 17 2022
