I always have trouble with this type of corkscrew. This one is so easy to use and I never have a problem struggling to get the cork out ! Adorable design.

This product is fun and easy to use. I have never been able to open a bottle of wine w/a waiter's traditional corkscrew. This is the first one, so I bought another one.

I have a collection of various openers, but I only want to use this one. If it's not misplaced, I keep looking until I find it, when I could have easily used another one. I did have difficulty using it to open a bottle of wine. I'm not sure it the fault lies with me or the opener.

Mendini's parrot corkscrew is a beautiful tool with a delightful visual form. I had seen and admired pictures of it for a long time and when I finally decided to buy one, I was not disappointed. I actually found the real item to be more impressive than the photos. It works well and the materials have a quality look and feel. One minor flaw that I find annoying is the super small notch on the foil cutter. This makes opening the cutter just a bit more difficult and there's no excuse for this not being larger. Still . . . the little parrot makes me smile every time I use it.

Works well once you get used to it. The colors aren’t bright and shiny as shown the photo. The photo looks like the colors are more primary, but they are more Fall colors and the finish is matte not glossy. But it’s still very nice looking!
