I just put this together, but it appears to be a well-made product. It was fairly easy to assemble (I did it alone). There are extra holes drilled into the side beams so you can vary the shelving height. I chose to install them as shown in the photo. I wish that the little hooks they provide could be attached to the top shelf instead of right in the middle. I can't see myself using them since anything hanging from those hooks will be pretty close to the floor. I only just received the cabinet today, so this is just based on first impressions. First is that it had sufficient protection in the box to ensure it arrives undamaged. Always appreciated. As for the cabinet itself, it's fantastic. I love that they have this slimmer model which fits in the small den area I have for my office desk. The powdered steel is smooth and looks good. I saw this in another review, it is essentially office furniture/storage as if it were designed by Apple. It's well built and looks nice, and that's what you're paying for. Black paint on the metal parts is flat black, understated, but works perfectly. I am surprised at the high quality of the leather sling used in this piece. It is a split hide and thin, but perfectly adequate for the job being tasked. I recommend this rack to anyone looking for a good quality, reasonably priced magazine rack.
