Our veneers are selected to give the best wood grain effects when illuminated and all have been sourced from forests certified by the Forest Stewardship Council - FSC. Nothing comes close to the beauty of these veneers as a diffusion material and no other veneer treatment gives the strength and the protection to the material with out sacrificing the delicacy and subtleness that this natural material communicates when illuminated. Which is a pity, because the granny knot on which NUT is based sat proudly on the heraldic badge of the Bourchier family. It’s a beautifully designed pendant, both very modern - and retro at the same time. I have chosen white exterior with golden interior looks light and elegant, and goes very well with the rustic wooden interior of the house wooden. Alexandre. New York, NY. Fri Oct 02 2026

Layered + luminous. This pendant light features a tiered metal shade design inspired by sculptural mid-century forms. Each layer is finished to resemble natural wood grain, creating warm tonal depth and a soft, diffused glow. An adjustable hanging height and sloped-ceiling compatibility make it easy to tailor the look to your space.

Beautiful. Well designed and well constructed. Very straightforward installation. The fixture weight is appropriately supported and the colors correctly match the sales photo and description. Only four stars because although the fixture uses an E26 standard base, the bulb shape required is a T type. Even with a T10 LED at a 100W equivalent and 1100 lumens at a color temperature of 3000K, it is still far too dim to use as a standalone light fixture over a dining table, island, or anything else really. I installed it in my home office and have to rely on additional lighting. I can barely tell it’s on in the daytime and puts out as much light as a small night light in the evening.. Ryan.
