There is a tradeoff between style and stability. You won't be able to sit on this table without it tipping all the way over. Obviously, there's no reason to sit on a table; just setting expectations. Otherwise it's absolutely stable enough for dining and such. The markings on the surface are obviously intentional and meant to evoke an industrial feel. There is a blotchy shine or lamination on the surface that I'm not sure if it should be scrubbed off or ignored (it's not painfully obvious). Just had the table delivered today. Luckily I read previous reviews because I expected the lightweight/plastic feel of the table. Still removing one star because of the cheap plastic locks for the individual leafs. Some are tight and some are not, and there's no way to adjust because it's a thin plastic washer. I didn't have the issue of others with the sections of the table top not lining up. The delivery team had no trouble assembling and checking the work after, I'm confident I could add/remove a leaf easily.
