The couch is comfortable and quite easy on the eyes. The only thing I wasn't prepared for was the way the chaise works. Pretty comfortable. Nice and firm like we wanted. It looks high quality, but the feel of the fabric is so-so (and very absorbent -- no stain resistance here I don't think). This color in my home appears kind of taupe-gray in most light. The delivery was quite swift and on-time which was a pleasant treat. Be aware that the back feels even lower because it is such a firm sofa. Also, there is nothing provided to connect the sectional pieces: they are very much just two separate, matching furniture items, not in fact, a sectional. This is a quality sofa with a sleek and elegant look. The open bottom makes it appear less substantial and bulky but it is quite heavy and solidly built. Reinforced joinery make it quite sturdy. The leather is very soft and supple and well conditioned. The seat cushions are quite wide however the back cushions are comparatively shallow relative to many sofas.
