The only downside for me is that with three very playful large dogs running on them on a regular basis their nails do sometimes get caught in the yarn and snag it, but as I had purchased this same rug several years ago I knew that, but had enjoyed the rug so much that it was worth it.. I am a particular fan of this brand. I have quite a few of their other rugs, so I knew that I was going to get quality.
