Fixture is beautiful in person. Very sleek and modern. Assembly started out difficult as we tried to get the globe on the base of the fixture we were unable to get our hands inside the globe because it was too narrow, then we discovered the black apparatus that was included that took care of that process by attaching it to the end cap piece and screwing it in the globe. This 1-light cone pendant puts all the focus on pared-down minimalism and contrasting materials, giving it a sleek look with nods to industrial design. Very happy with the price vs. what they look like in person. Pretty easy to install aside from having to cut the main cord and then having the nylon to get to the wires, and then recut the wires to have them exposed properly. I installed three over our kitchen island, and (embarrassingly) I actually dropped one because it was not fully secured to the ceiling. When it hit the counter. I expected it to shatter, or have a major dent in it, since the counter quartz and the outside of the light is some meta., but it did not show any major signs of deformation.
