I love these pasta bowls! I've been wanting a set for a long time but had so many dishes that I hesitated to buy more. I got these to go with our greenish set of stoneware plates. They coordinate nicely even though they are different brands and colors. I like the size and shape. At first I thought I wanted bigger but I'm embracing smaller rather than oversized things. These also don't scratch! My green stoneware dishes have marks left from normal cutlery use. They have a nice weight. They can get hot to the touch in the microwave. They have become our go-to-dish.. The bowl is functional for every occasion. Beautifully shaped yet humble enough to act as a discreet backdrop to the perfectly arranged meal. Start setting the table with your own unique color combinations. Stacks beautifully for in-cabinet storage. Outside of the product is matte. The inside serving area is glazed for design compliments and easy cleaning. The product is molded at very high temperatures using casting techniques. The high temperatures during the firing process make the product more stable than clay and less translucent than porcelain. Due to the heating and glazing processes, these pieces may have slightly different attributes that can add to their beauty and uniqueness.
